1. Overview

MeltFlex is a subscription-based AI interior design platform. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for our subscription plans.

2. Free Tier

The MeltFlex free tier does not require payment and can be used without a subscription. No refund applies to the free tier as no payment is made.

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel Your subscription at any time. Open the sidebar menu, tap Settings, tap "Edit Profile", tap "Manage" next to Your subscription plan, then tap "Cancel subscription". When You cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain access to all paid features until the period ends
  • No further charges will be made after the current period
  • Your account will revert to the free tier after the paid period expires

Your projects, designs, and uploaded content will be preserved on Your account even after downgrading to the free tier.

4. Refunds for Subscription Plans

As a digital service that is delivered immediately upon subscription, refunds are generally not provided once a billing period has begun. This is because AI generation credits and premium features are available for use immediately after payment.

However, We may provide a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Technical issues: If a technical problem on our end prevents You from using paid features for an extended period, We will provide a proportional refund for the affected time
  • Accidental purchase: If You accidentally subscribed and have not used any paid features (zero AI generations or premium actions), contact us within 48 hours for a full refund
  • Billing error: If You were charged incorrectly (e.g., double charge, wrong plan), We will correct the error and refund the difference

5. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If You are a consumer in the European Union, You have a legal right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

However, by using the Platform's paid features (such as generating AI designs or accessing premium tools) after subscribing, You acknowledge that the digital service has begun and You consent to waive Your right of withdrawal for that billing period, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

If You have not used any paid features within the 14-day withdrawal period, You may request a full refund by contacting us at info@meltflexai.com.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at info@meltflexai.com with:

  • Your account email address
  • The reason for Your refund request
  • The date of the charge in question

We will review Your request and respond within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed through Stripe and will appear on Your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

7. Plan Changes

If You switch from a higher-priced plan to a lower-priced plan, the change takes effect at the start of Your next billing period. No partial refund is provided for the remaining time on the higher plan, but You retain full access until the period ends.

If You upgrade to a higher-priced plan, the price difference is prorated for the remainder of Your current billing period.

8. Your Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy affects Your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If You are unsure about Your rights, contact Your local consumer protection authority.

EU consumers may submit disputes to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
