Weekly Creator Contest Official Rules

These Official Rules govern the MeltFlex Weekly Creator Contest. We wrote them to be fair to you, easy to follow, and clear about what each of us commits to. If anything is unclear, write to us at the address in Section 16. The contest itself is described on meltflexai.com/contests.

Timeline

In short: every week is its own contest. The current week is Oct 12 – Oct 18 and its winners are announced on Oct 19. We may announce winners earlier, but a week's closing time is never moved earlier once that week has started.

Overview

The MeltFlex Weekly Creator Contest (the “Contest”) is a cash-prize competition of skill for people who design spaces with MeltFlex. Every contest week has its own prize pool of $10,000 USD, split between three winners. Winners are chosen on merit, from a shortlist built by community likes. Chance plays no part.

The Contest is organised by MeltFlex s. r. o., Martina Granca 3669/20, 841 02 Bratislava, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 57299153 (“MeltFlex”, “we”, “us”). These Official Rules are the single source of truth for eligibility, entries, judging and prizes. If anything on the website or in marketing material conflicts with them, these Official Rules govern.

By entering you agree to these Official Rules, the Community Gallery Terms, our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Void where prohibited by law.

At a Glance

1. Definitions

In short: A few terms used throughout, so nothing later reads like jargon.

• Contest Week: the period from Monday 00:00 UTC to the following Sunday 23:59 UTC. Each Contest Week is a separate contest with its own prize pool.
• Project: a MeltFlex project, the set of renders you created with MeltFlex tools and which is listed on your Projects page.
• Entry: a Project published to the Community Gallery as one post, with all of its publishable renders.
• Participant: the holder of the MeltFlex account that published the Entry. That person is also the prize recipient.
• Valid Like: a like given to an Entry during its Contest Week by a real, distinct MeltFlex user, other than the Participant, who chose to give it.
• Shortlist: the most-liked eligible Entries of a Contest Week, from which the winners are selected.

2. Eligibility

In short: You need to be 18+ and on an active MeltFlex Pro or Enterprise plan: the contest is one of the things those plans include. A few people connected to the Contest cannot compete, to keep judging fair.

2.1. You must hold a MeltFlex account in good standing with an active Pro or Enterprise plan, both when you publish your Entry and when the winners of its Contest Week are selected. Members of an Enterprise team take part through their team's plan. Entries from accounts on other plans are not eligible. You can compare the plans on the subscription page.

2.2. You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.

2.3. One account per person. Entries from additional accounts of the same person are not eligible.

2.4. The Contest is open worldwide, except where it is prohibited by law or where sanctions or other legal restrictions make taking part or paying a prize impossible. Persons subject to EU, UN, UK or US sanctions, and residents of embargoed territories, are not eligible.

2.5. Excluded persons: employees, officers and directors of MeltFlex; contractors involved in screening or selecting winners; and the immediate family or household members of any of them, cannot enter or win.

3. How to Enter

In short: Design a project, then publish the whole project from Projects. Publishing is entering, there is no form.

3.1. Create a Project with any MeltFlex tool. Add as many rooms and renders as you like.

3.2. Open Projects, click ⋯ on the Project and choose Publish to community. The Project goes up in the Community Gallery as one post with all its publishable renders. That post is your Entry.

3.3. An Entry competes in the Contest Week in which it is first published. Publishing the same Project again after removing it does not create an entry for a later week.

3.4. There is no limit on the number of Entries, but each Entry must be a different Project, and one person can win at most one prize per Contest Week (see Section 6).

3.5. Entering is free beyond your MeltFlex plan. There is no entry fee and no separate form.

4. Entry Requirements

In short: Everything in the project has to be made with MeltFlex, by you, and stay published until the winners are announced.

4.1. Made with MeltFlex. Every render in the Entry must be generated with MeltFlex tools on your account. Images made with other AI tools or edited outside MeltFlex beyond minor cropping are not allowed.

4.2. Your own photos. You may start from your own photo of a room or building, provided you have the right to use it. The uploaded photo and your prompts are not published with the Entry.

4.3. Watermarked renders. Renders carrying a MeltFlex watermark are held back from the post and are not part of the Entry.

4.4. Stay published. The Entry must remain published until the winners of its Contest Week are announced. Removing the post, or deleting the Project, before then withdraws the Entry.

4.5. Changes after publishing. Renders you add to the Project after the Contest Week closes are not judged. The title of the Project may be changed at any time.

5. Prohibited Content

In short: The gallery's content rules apply to every entry.

5.1. Entries must follow section 7 of the Community Gallery Terms. Among other things, that excludes nudity, sexual content, violence, hate symbols, a recognisable person as the main subject without their consent, personal information, advertising, and anything that infringes someone else's rights.

5.2. Entries must show a designed space: an interior, exterior, building, garden, floor plan or furniture arrangement.

5.3. Entries that break these rules may be removed and are not eligible.

6. Prize Pool: $10,000 Every Week

In short: Three cash prizes every week, one per person.

6.1. One person can win at most one prize per Contest Week, whatever the number of Entries they publish.

6.2. If a Contest Week does not receive enough eligible Entries of sufficient quality, MeltFlex may award fewer than three prizes for that week.

6.3. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for credits or a subscription. Winning Entries may also be featured on the MeltFlex create page at meltflexai.com/create, in the gallery and on MeltFlex social channels.

6.4. Prize amounts apply to a Contest Week as published on /contests when that week opens, and are not reduced once the week has started.

7. Likes, Shortlist & Judging

In short: Valid likes during the week build the shortlist. The MeltFlex team then picks the three winners from it, on merit, so a strong project can win without the most likes.

7.1. Screening. We check each Entry against Sections 2, 4 and 5. Entries that do not meet them are not eligible.

7.2. Shortlist. Only Valid Likes received during the Contest Week count; every week starts from zero. The most-liked eligible Entries form the Shortlist. MeltFlex sets its size each week.

7.3. Selection. The MeltFlex team chooses the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from the Shortlist, judging:

• Design quality: composition, materials, lighting and realism;
• Creativity: an original idea or a striking transformation;
• The project as a whole: how well its rooms and renders work together;
• Craft: how well the Entry uses what MeltFlex tools can do.

7.4. Judging and selection decisions are final and binding, and are not subject to appeal.

8. Fair Play & Disqualification

In short: Likes have to come from real people who chose to give them.

8.1. The following are not allowed:

• additional or fake accounts, bots, scripts or paid likes;
• like exchanges, vote rings or other coordinated liking;
• entering work that is not yours, or that was not made with MeltFlex;
• any material breach of these Official Rules, the Community Gallery Terms or our Terms & Conditions.

8.2. Where we reasonably believe this has happened, we may discount the likes concerned, disqualify the Entry, and exclude the person from this and future contests, in addition to the measures in section 8 of the Community Gallery Terms.

8.3. If a violation is discovered after a prize was paid, the recipient must return the prize on our written request. We apply this only to material violations.

9. Verification & Payout

In short: We email each winner personally, check who they are, and pay in USD within 7 days of completed verification.

9.1. Each winner is contacted personally, by email to the address of the MeltFlex account that published the winning Entry, and winners are announced on /contests the Monday after their Contest Week closes. Keep that email address current. We write only from an @meltflexai.com address and never ask for your password.

9.2. Before paying, we verify the winner's identity, age, eligibility and account standing, and run sanctions screening. We may ask for an ID document, a signed eligibility declaration, tax information and payment details.

9.3. Winners must reply and complete verification within 14 days of the winner email. If they do not, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible Entry on the Shortlist.

9.4. Prizes are paid in USD by PayPal or bank transfer within 7 days of completed verification. MeltFlex pays its own sending fees. Fees charged by the winner's bank or PayPal, and currency conversion, are the winner's responsibility.

9.5. Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize. If the law requires MeltFlex to withhold tax, we will deduct it, pay it to the authority and tell the winner.

9.6. If we are legally unable to pay a winner, for example because of sanctions, the prize may be awarded to the next eligible Entry.

10. Rights & Publicity

In short: Your work stays yours. Publishing gives MeltFlex the licence described in the Community Gallery Terms.

10.1. You keep ownership of your Entry. By publishing it you grant MeltFlex the licence in section 3 of the Community Gallery Terms, including use in marketing.

10.2. Winners agree that MeltFlex may publish their creator name, profile handle, country, place and the winning Entry on /contests, on the create page at meltflexai.com/create, in the gallery and on MeltFlex social channels, without further payment, unless the law where they live requires separate consent.

11. Your Promises

By entering you confirm that:

• you meet every eligibility requirement in Section 2;
• the Entry is your own work, made with MeltFlex on your account;
• you have the rights to any photo you started from, and the Entry does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
• the Entry complies with these Official Rules and the Community Gallery Terms.

12. Changes, Pauses & Cancellation

In short: We may change or pause future weeks, but never cut the prize of a week that has already started.

12.1. MeltFlex may change these Official Rules, the prize pool, or pause or end the weekly Contest. Changes are announced on /contests and apply from the next Contest Week.

12.2. A Contest Week that has already started keeps its prize amounts and closing time, except where a change is required by law, or where fraud, a technical failure or another event outside our control prevents the week from running fairly. In that case we may extend, suspend or cancel the affected week and will say so on /contests.

13. Privacy

13.1. We process Participants' personal data to run the Contest, verify winners, pay prizes and meet legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. Identity and tax documents collected for verification are used only for that purpose and kept only as long as the law requires.

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1. MeltFlex is not responsible for entries or likes lost or delayed because of technical failures, outages or events outside our reasonable control.

14.2. To the extent permitted by law, MeltFlex's liability in connection with the Contest is limited to the value of the prize concerned. Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

15.1. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence.

15.2. Please contact us first; most questions are resolved by email. Disputes that cannot be resolved that way are decided by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live.
